I'm related to the McDaniel clan from Virginia and Maryland. I believe my grandfather's name was Charles and he married an Indian woman named Pearl.

My name is Brian McDaniel. My father is James F. McDaniel and my grandfathers name was James R. McDaniel and my great grandfathers name was also James R. McDaniel. I was told our family came from Ireland around 1778. The family settled in Monroe county Tennessee and had a family farm. Is anyone failure with the Tennessee Branch?

Hi my paternal grandmother was a Mcdaniel. Family legend traces back to two brother Edgar and Milton Mcdaniel whose unknown parents were killed in a hotel fire. We guess birth date was around the 1830's since both served for the union in the civil war, one as an officer and the other as a drummer boy. Does anyone know anything?
